Helianthus in Color ~ Ombré Wedding Dress

Ombrè version of the Helianthus wedding dress, which is also available in all ivory, or all white, here.

The perfect wedding dress for the bride who just can’t settle for just one look: this gown can be styled in so many ways that I haven’t even found them all yet!

The bodice

The bodice is structured and fully boned, made with a vintage handwoven unbleached hemp.
I can make the dress with a zipper, as shown, or with a corset lace-up, (like the Agapanthus or the Papaver).

If you choose the zipper, do expect that the zipper may need to be re-set by your tailor as it is difficult to get a perfect fit without a proper fitting. It is not a difficult process and any experienced tailor can do it for you. The corset on the other hand adds detail and ensures a perfect fit as you can fine-tune the size yourself when you put it on.

Look-wise, the zipper has a more polished, modern effect, the corset is more romantic and bohemian.

The skirt

The skirt is layer upon layer of silk chiffon, open in front so it moves and flutters freely.
At the waistline, two long long silk ribbons are sewn (over 2 meters long), and these allow you to change the style of the dress dramatically with a single gesture.

The sample dress shown is ivory, with a rich rust dip dye bottom. The dip dye process is unique to each dress, and we can discuss the color you prefer, how intense and how much. Blush, grey, darker caramel, pale dusty blue, lavender, a rich golden yellow… the options are so many!

• MATERIALS & CARE:
100% silk.
Dry clean only. Iron with a lot of steam and on a medium setting. Please test on an inner part of the garment.

• MEASUREMENTS:
The dress is entirely custom made to measure, so it will be sure to fit you perfectly and match your exact needs and requests.
I will email you a detailed list of the measurements and information I need once you place the order. Elements may be customized.

• SHIPPING:
If your wedding is less then 6 weeks way, please contact us before placing your order.
I will use expedited Fedex shipping, that will deliver in about 3-4 workdays in most parts of the world. Please provide a physical address (not a P.O. box) and a phone number in the note to seller.
