I would like to book an appointment in your Studio. What should I do?

First of all, read this FAQ and fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Once we receive your request, we will write back either confirming your appointment or suggesting a series of alternative options.

But if you prefer, feel free to simply give us a call!

We accept appointments Monday through Saturday, and are quite flexible with our hours. Feel free to ask and we will find the best way to accomodate you!

How does an appointment work?

In our atelier you will find our complete sample collection, which includes dresses and accessories that are not available online. We have a large collection of wedding separates available, which is always an excellent starting point to the customization process, as it allows the mixing and matching of elements styles, helping generate and visualize ideas as they flow. These will serve as a mood-board around which we can design your custom wedding gown.

You’ll be able to see, touch, and choose the textiles you love most, exploring every available option down to the shade of white or personalized color you have always dreamt of! A Larimeloom wedding dress is always made to order, and often the resulting dress is one of a kind, unique to the bride that it is made for.

As for hand-dying and custom colors, we have a selection of sample dresses that you will be able to try on, and lots of swatches of silks we dyed in the past, which will give you an idea of the wide range of colors available.

What should I expect form the appointment?

You should expect a lot of fun! We aren’t your typical wedding dress boutique, but a creative and informal atelier, where we aim to create a relaxed and easygoing atmosphere.

We encourage you to voice your opinions while trying on dresses, telling us what you like and dislike about each piece. This will be useful in designing the perfect dress for you. A dress that will suit you in its shape, cut, color and materials.

Will l find the complete Larimeloom collection in your showroom?

Sometimes a few of the dresses available online won’t be in the showroom during your appointment because they might be on loan for photoshoots, or because we just had a sample sale to renew and update our line. If you have already fallen in love with a specific piece of the collection, please let us know in advance so that we can be sure to have a version of it available for you to try on, whenever possible.

If you are particularly interested in a dress or customized detail you saw on one of our brides or on Instagram, please let us know, we can integrate it in your own custom design!

Can I visit you without an appointment?

We usually prefer a heads-up! We want to be able to dedicate our complete attention to each of you, guaranteeing the most personal and intimate setting possible.

But if you are passing by and just want to stop for a quick visit, do not hesitate giving us a call!

We will be happy to welcome you if we can!

How long does an appointment last?

We dedicate up to two hours per appointment. This allows for plenty of time to try on as many dresses and options as you feel you need, and time to discuss details as well.

If you are looking for dresses for multiple people (for example, a wedding dress for the bride and formal gowns for bridesmaids, parents or family members) please let us know so that we can reserve extra time for your group.

How many people can come with me to my appointment?

Our studio is in a large open space setting so we don’t have any specific restrictions.

We recommend bringing a rather small group of trusted people that knows you well. Their opinion tends to resonate more compared to larger friend groups who do lend to a very festive mood but also create a lot of confused and contrasting opinions.

Our suggestion is for a group of around 5 people, plus the bride.

What are the prices of the wedding dresses?

Our design’s prices vary depending on the custom details and textiles you choose. You can explore our shop where all prices are visible to get a general idea.

We will provide a detailed estimate of costs for the specific dress or dresses you fall in love with in the days following your appointment, and you will be able to take all the time you need to think it over.

Customizing a design does not have a fee, the price will depend exclusively based on the design details chosen.

How early should I place my order?

The creation of a custom wedding gown requires a lot of time and care. In our busiest months (between April and September) we sometimes are not able to satisfy all requests due to the intense workload. Everything is made in studio so there is not a fixed deadline, it just depends on our workload at the time of order.

Our suggestion to customers is always to place the order as early as possible. That way you will be sure to be able to wear your dream dress on the day of your wedding!

The order is confirmed only after payment (in part or in full depending on our agreement) is received.

Last minute requests.

If you don’t have a lot of time, do not hesitate contacting us! When possible, we will be more than happy to find the perfect solution for you.

In addition to being able to accommodate rush orders, we have a wide selection of samples available for sale, perfect for last minute requests.

If I find my dress, how does the payment work?

Every design is made expressly upon order, so unfortunately you won’t be able to take your dress home with you directly.

We like allowing you time to think things over before placing your order, so we never ask for a down payment on the day of the appointment.

A few days after your visit, we will send you a detailed estimate of costs for the dress (or dresses) you chose. We always ask for a down payment of 50% of the total to confirm your order, and a full payment before you pick your dress.

When should I arrive?

We serve only one bride at a time and we do not have a waiting room, so please do not arrive too early (3-5 minutes is enough), to avoid disturbing the group before you. If you arrive late, you will have less time available, as we run a full daily schedule with two hours reserved for each customer.

In case you are early, we ask you to please wait outside until the time of your appointment.

Where are you located?

In the North of Italy, in Reggio Emilia. The atelier can be reached by car easily, and is equipped with a large parking area.

The nearest highway exit is just 10 minutes away from our show room.

You can also reach us using public transportation or taxi.

The nearest airports are the Aeroporto Marconi of Bologna, or Milano’s various airports.
