This Eco conscious silk bridal gown is very unique, composed of hundreds of thin strips of silk, carefully layered and combined to create a sustainable wedding dress that has a depth and detail that is out of the ordinary.

It is designed around the concept of zero-waste: each thin strip is derived from my ever growing collection of leftover silks. Carefully selected, they are then hand cut in to individual strips, and then layered to achieve this stunning feathery strapless gown. A fully sustainable, eco-friendly wedding dress for the eco-conscious bride.

Under the floaty strips of silk, is an A-line base layer of gold-painted ivory silk satin. It has a faint, precious glow which gives a rich light and depth to the dress, and counterbalances with its luxuriousness the raw character of the silk strips.

Available in a range of color palettes, the sample in the photos is composed of hues of white, ivory, gold, blush, sand and a hint of sage green, inspired by the colors of seashells.

It has a structured, fully boned bodice, which is lined with silk Duchesse satin, a dream against the skin. It closes with a corset up the center back. In the photos, the corset tie is wrapped around the bodice once, to create a thin little belt. This is optional, you can also pair it with a separate sash or just tie the corset in back directly. 

• MATERIALS & CARE:
100% recycled silk strips
100% gold-painted silk satin under-layer and bodice lining
100% vintage handwoven hemp bodice core layer, under the silk strips.
Dry clean. Iron with a lot of steam and on a medium setting.
Please test on an inner part of the garment.

The dress is entirely custom made to measure, so it will be sure to fit you perfectly and match your exact needs and requests.
