The Poppy wedding gown is simply striking. It features a silk-base sequin covered bodice, with a becoming straight neckline and a super flattering bias cut silk organza skirt. 

Delicately climbing up one side of the skirt and melting up the bodice is a stunning art Deco floral vine of soft draping Poppies. They have the faintest white sequins embroidered in the centres, bringing together the bodice and skirt in soft luminous way. This lace decor is carefully hand cut and stitched all around the edges to be permanently attached to the organza layer. 

The cut of this skirt is extremely flattering on all figures. The bias cut elongates the figure, and the reduces the volume of material around the hips, with a slimming effect. It’s finished with a long, double point train, with a bustle to lift it up the floor. Thin, delicate spaghetti straps finish the look. It looks beautiful paired with a sash, like the Nettle sash for example.

The bodice is fully boned and offers wonderful support, so that usually a bra is not necessary.

It closes up the center back with a delicate v-shaped corset, and the skirt part closes with an invisible zipper. There is no fabric in the bodice section under the corset: if you prefer some fabric to cover the skin (and hide a bra fastening for example) please select the appropriate option and I will provide to construct it with the fabric covering the center back like most of my other corset dresses features.

100% silk
100% gold-painted silk satin under-layer and bodice lining
100% vintage handwoven hemp bodice core layer, under the silk strips.
Dry clean. Iron with a lot of steam and on a medium setting.
