Another beautiful custom design, entirely unique to Lucy. She had a variety of ideas, but also left me a lot of creative room to follow the flow and intentions of the beautiful laces and silks we used.
It is loosely based on the shape of the Clematis, but different laces were used, in an interesting combination of hues, patterns and textures. The center front panel is thickly beaded with ivory glass beads, and it has a beautiful rich drape. Deep slits open up the straight cut lace skirt, and the underskirt is made of multiple layers of light, airy silk chiffon, skimming the floor and pooling in a long train behind her.
Lucy lives in California, and the wedding was celebrated in Costa Rica.
