Esther travelled all the way from the UK to my bridal atelier in Reggio Emilia, Italy, in order to get to try on, touch and feel my collection in person. Together, we discussed at length her ideal dress, to suit her petite body type, her taste, her need for ease and movement.
She settled on a few favourites: in particular she loved the Hedera dress, but was overwhelmed by the sleeve of the underdress which was very wide for her small frame. She adored the flow of the Eucalyptus but the abundance of fabric in the Kaftan overlay was a bit too much.
So what we did was create a slip tunic underdress with less sleeve for the Hedera design, thus achieving the lightness and ease of the Eucalyptus, but the more contained flow of the Hedera.

I wanted to share some photos of our wedding day with you. The modified Hedera dress was a dream, so comfortable, lightweight and ethereal, it was just what I wanted. So simple, yet infinitely beautiful.
