Barbara found me last year, and came in person to my studio to try on wedding dresses. She almost immediately fell in love with the Abelia outfit, a blush silk tulle number that is utterly romantic but so relaxed and understated at the same time.  To add a note of detail, she decided to pair it with the Clover lace top.

Accessorised with the Nettle sash, with buttons as closure instead of the long silk ties I usually make it with. Her lovely shoes are by Rachel Simpson, one of my favorites for delicate, romantic shoes with an original unexpected flair.

The setting was the agriturismo Casa Scaparone in Piemonte, Italy, a beautiful restored farmhouse who’s richly detailed, moody atmosphere beautifully complimented the vintage air Barbara chose for her wedding.
